Pilsen Warehouse Trades to Excavation Firm
Cawley Chicago closed on the sale of 3228 S. Wood St., an 18,000-square-foot industrial facility in the West Side’s Pilsen neighborhood, for an undisclosed sum. The Chicago industrial team, led by principal Frank Melchert and Stevan Arandjelovic, represented seller SES Equipment Services and sourced the buyer, Taylor Excavating & Construction Inc., directly.
The facility sits on 1.48 acres between Pilsen and the stockyards corridors. It offers 18,000 square feet of maintenance bays and two-story office, along with a securely fenced lot.
“This is a perfectly located warehouse and yard space,” said Melchert. “With quick access to downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods via a full interchange at I-55 and Damen, the buyer will be able to service his costumers with true efficiency. It’s rare to find a property with this building to land ratio, so close to the CDB.”
