Pilot Flying J Announces Six New Locations in West Texas

Knoxville, TN-headquartered Pilot Flying J announced plans to open more travel centers in West Texas in 2019. Specifically, the travel center owner-operator will open Flying J and Pilot Travel Centers throughout the Permian Basin, to help meet the need of energy-industry traffic.

The new travel centers will offer more than 250 truck parking spaces, along with food, fuel and other products to the local communities. The company, so far, has opened a Flying J Travel Center in Kermit, and two Pilot Travel Centers in Monahans and Midland. Amenities offered include showers, diesel lanes, CAT scales, Western Union and Dunkin’ Express. Later in 2019, Pilot Flying J will open locations in Odessa, Midland and Andrews.

“We continue to invest in new stores located strategically across the country to bring convenience, quality, great food and amenities to those who are traveling the roadways,” said Ken Parent with Pilot Flying J.
