Photo Tour: Construction’s Progression at QVC Facility

Construction of QVC’s new warehouse facility in Ontario is moving quickly toward the finish line. A recent photo tour shows just how far along the LEED-certified facility being developed by Irvine-based Sares Regis is coming (see link below).

The 1.2-million square-foot warehouse is QVC’s first west coast distribution center. More than 500 people are expected to be employed at the center when it opens this summer, with 1,000 predicted by 2020. Approximately 20- percent of QVC’s business will be handled by the center.

Last summer, Sares Regis acquired 150 acres along Interstate 10 from the Meredith family, and moved forward on developing approximately three million square feet of industrial space. QVC pre-leased its facility from Sares Regis.
