Pharma Firm Relocates from Bay Area to Chicago Suburbs
Pharmaceutical manufacturer Depomed is relocating from the Bay Area to the suburbs of Chicago. The company will establish its corporate headquarters at the Landmark Conway Farms complex in Lake Forest, IL. Lease terms were not disclosed.
Depomed CEO Arthur Higgins said the relocation was “consistent with our overall business strategy to transform Depomed into a leaner, more entrepreneurial and faster moving company.” He added that the new space would be “in close proximity to a growing number of specialty pharmaceutical companies.”
CBRE’s Kyle Kamin, Dan Lyne and James Otto represented Depomed. Move-in at the new HQ is expected in the third quarter. While it’s under construction, the tenant will operate out of temporary space in the same building.
