Perot Development to Build 200-Acre Business Park

Perot Development Co. unveiled plans to build a 200-acre park on SH 161 in Irving, TX, at the eastern edge of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The unnamed development will have approximately 2.4 million square feet at buildout.

The airport is planning to sign a long-term lease with the developer. The largest of the proposed distribution buildings will be more than 1.4 million square feet.

The project isn’t the first for Perot Development. The Dallas-based company recently completed Logistics Center 6 and 7 at the north end of DFW, bringing its portfolio of e-commerce properties situated at the airport to approximately 2.5 million square feet developed over the past five years.
