Penler to Build 240-Unit MF Community in Dawsonville

Atlanta-based multifamily real estate investment platform Penler has announced plans for The Parker, a 240-unit multifamily community in Dawsonville. The project is the firm’s first development.

The community will utilize half of a large 40-acre site, which sits alongside Thompson Creek and a forested hillside. The two-story gated community will have 240 one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities will feature a centrally-located 1.25-acre great lawn and resident gathering area, as well as a large resort-style pool with sundeck and grilling areas, a dog park and walking trails. The clubhouse will feature a 24-hour fitness center and activity areas.

“Our strategy is to enter suburban markets with little new supply, great demographics, good schools, proximity to retail and employment centers, and deliver first class multifamily rental communities,” said Brian Metzler, managing partner at Penler.

The project is expected to break ground this month, with completion expected in the spring of 2021.
