Peak Campus, Blue Vista Capital in “U District” Development Deal

Atlanta-based Peak Campus and investment partner, Blue Vista Capital Management, LLC, acquired its first Seattle student apartment development site. Located at 4731 15th Avenue NE, in the University District, the roughly .75-acre site is near the main entrance to the University of Washington and its Historic Greek Row.

Theory U District, will consist of nearly 500 beds of studio, one, two, three, four and five-bedroom student apartments that come fully furnished with modern finishes and features. An amenity package will encompass a roof-top deck, multiple study rooms, a landscaped park-like courtyard for outdoor activities, fitness room, parcel lockers, and parking.

The site was previously owned by the University Christian Church (UCC), which moved out of the property last summer. Demolition of the site’s previous building was completed by UCC and vertical construction for Theory U District will commence later in 2020 with a Fall 2022 opening planned.

Paige Coker Heiman of Acquire, Inc. handled the deal.
