Partnership Acquires Land at 2700 Commerce, Plans 215K-SF MXU

Hines, Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management, and Ivanhoe Cambridge, joined forces to acquire a parcel at 2700 Commerce, in Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood, east of the CBD. The partners are planning to build a 16-story, mixed-use property on the site, which will total 215,000 square feet. Construction on the project, dubbed The Stack, will start immediately.

Upon completion, The Stack will offer approximately 200,000 square feet of creative office space, and 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Furthermore, the partnership is targeting LEED Core & Shell and WELL certifications for the project; the development will be one of Dallas’ first new construction projects to receive WELL certification. Tenant amenities will include electric vehicle (and potentially scooter) charging stations, a 10th floor terrace, fitness center, bicycle storage, concierge package delivery and a coffee/cocktail lounge.
