Paradox Partners Launches Co-Work Operations
Paradox Partners LLC is launching a co-work concept to provide entrepreneurs with affordable and flexible workspace. The company is basing its operations in San Antonio, and will open the first Paradox co-working space at 8522 Broadway, a two-story, 39,333-square-foot building.
Colorado investor Alex Gerber acquired the mixed-use building out of foreclosure in 2017. Gerber, who is also launching the Paradox workspace, said he wanted to provide co-working space in other than urban areas, and gear it toward entrepreneurs, as opposed to tech start-ups. He plans to take the concept to other markets.
“We saw a lot of demand for people who wanted a single office but couldn’t afford to take a huge space or sign a three-year or five-year lease,” Gerber told the San Antonio Business Journal. “That can be hard on small businesses. You don’t know if you are going to grow, or if there will be a geographic change.”
