PAM Specialty Hospital of Victoria Readies to Relocate

Post Acute Medical LLC announced it would relocate the PAM Specialty Hospital of Victoria North, at 102 Medical Dr. in Victoria, TX to the Citizens Medical Center, a 258,000-square-foot hospital at 2701 Hospital Dr. The space at Citizens Medical Center will be renovated, with the specialty hospital scheduled to open in late 2018.

Upon completion of the relocation, Post Acute Medical will expand its PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Victoria, which is adjacent to the specialty hospital’s current 31,350-square-foot location, at 101 James Coleman Dr. The expansion will boost the rehabilitation hospital beyond its current 26-bed capacity.

Mike Olson with Citizens Medical Center said having the PAM specialty hospital on-site will provide convenience to patients requiring additional acute treatment beyond their appropriate hospital stay. “The transition to this care will be much simpler for the patients and physicians, since they won’t need to leave the building,” he said.
