Pacific Starr Group Sells Pasadena Asset for $44.5M
Pacific Starr Group Inc. has sold Gateway Metro Center, a 121,462-square-foot, 11-story office tower, and a 3.73-acre land parcel in Pasadena to an unnamed Chinese investor for $44.5-million. The transit-oriented, urban infill, mixed-use development site, including one of the tallest buildings in the city, is located at 3452 E. Foothill Blvd., adjacent to a Gold Line station.
Pasadena-based Pacific Starr is a 20-year-old private real estate investment firm, founded by entrepreneurs John F. Pipia and Betty W. Ma.
CBRE’s team of Mike Longo, Laurie Lustig-Bower, Kamran Paydar, Kevin Shannon, Ken White, Kevin Duffy and Natalie Bazarevitsch represented the seller.
