Oxford Brings Ann Arbor Offices from 38% to 96% Occupied

Oxford Companies has recently executed nearly 150,000 square feet of leases at 777 E. Eisenhower Pkwy., in the process bringing the Ann Arbor, MI office property from 38% to 96% occupancy. The company acquired 777 E. Eisenhower last August.

The lion’s share of the recently-leased space comes from the University of Michigan, which has taken five floors, up from one full floor prior to its expansion. The property’s eighth floor will be occupied by the UAW and Oxford.

With the property now stabilized, Oxford plans to invest approximately $10 million before engaging in improvements to the State/Eisenhower submarket. The company owns nearly two million square feet of commercial space in the area.

“We’re only one partner in this process, but as the largest private real estate owner, we have a responsibility to invest in this neighborhood,” said Oxford CEO Jeff Hauptman.
