Opus Transforms Former Target Offices to Multi-Tenant Use
The Opus Group completed building improvements at Target’s former west corporate campus in Minneapolis, transforming the 307,000-square-foot 3701 Wayzata Blvd. to a multi-tenant building. The owner-developer already has much of the space spoken for, with leasing commitments from Tactile Medical, SRF Consulting Group and Regis accounting for approximately 250,000 square feet.
“We’re very excited to welcome these organizations into a reimagined, vibrant office experience,” said Opus VP Phil Cattanach. “The building was so well-maintained that it allowed us to focus our efforts on incorporating modern amenities to exceed tenant expectations. In short order, we transformed this unique building into a dynamic, multi-tenant offering to satisfy the high demand for quality office space.”
Opus was the developer, design-builder, and architect and engineer of record. Perkins and Will provided interior design consulting services. The project was a joint venture with Principal Real Estate Investors, and financing came from TCF Bank.
