Oldham Goodwin Buys 180K-SF Tech Park

Oldham Goodwin Capital LLC acquired the Science Park at Research Valley, a 180,000-square-foot office, business and technology park at 2501 Earl Rudder Freeway South in College Station, TX. The sales price was undisclosed, with the Brazos Central Appraisal District assessing the 34-year-old building valued at $8.6 million. The CAD listed the seller as CS Science Park LLC, care of John W. Clayton.

The locally based Oldham Goodwin Group will rename the development Providence Park and Research Valley, with Lynntech Inc. continuing as the main tenant. Part of the deal included the surrounding 54 acres, which is immediately available for build-to-suit projects and fee-simple purchase. Additionally, the new owners plan significant retail development for frontage along SH 6. The property is less than two miles from Texas A&M University.
