OC’s PacSun Opening Urban Neighborhood Flagships

Orange County’s Pacific Sunwear of California (PacSun) is taking Southern California’s beach lifestyle urban with two new landmark stores, one in Downtown Los Angeles (now open) and the company’s first New York City location.The new PacSun stores will showcase evolutions for the company as a multi-brand retailer of streetwear and action-sports brands.

According to a recent report from California Apparel News, the 8,000-square-foot NYC store is scheduled to open on March 19 at SoHo’s 503 Broadway, already home to Zara, and operations for L Space and a roster of office tenants.

The neighborhood near the brand’s 1026 S. Broadway in DTLA is new for retail, with a Vans emporium, Theory boutique and an Urban Outfitters flagship also on the street. A Paul Smith store is under construction and is scheduled to open this month.
