NYC’s Unique Experience Retail: The Old Town Bar and Restaurant

Retail developers now work hard to create “experience” retail that attracts visitors with shops and restaurants they can’t find anywhere else. “Unique New York” is in a great position to compete on those terms.

For example, one of the oldest bars in New York City will celebrate its 125th birthday on Sunday, September 17, 2017. The Old Town Bar and Restaurant, at 45 E. 18th St. in the Flatiron District, has been in continuous operation since 1892. The Old Bar is not just unique — it’s irreplaceable.

Its 125th celebration starts at 1 p.m., with Oktoberfest beer and an Oompah Band.
