North Wells Signs Coworking Firm to Full-Floor Lease
North Wells Capital and Urban Innovations signed Workbox Coworking Company to a long-term, full-floor lease for 15,295 square feet at 306 West Erie. Part of the three-building Verso complex in River North, 306 West Erie has now reached substantial completion of its expansion and redevelopment, and is ready for full occupancy.
“Workbox’s unique business model is the perfect way to kick off the office leasing at 306 West Erie as it epitomizes the innovation and collaboration we hope to foster within the Verso Collection, and allows us to more appropriately respond to our tenants’ ever-changing needs,” said Tony Lindsay, principal at North Wells.
Workbox is projected to occupy the space mid-2021. The Workbox lease coincides with the commencement of construction for the street-level Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea. It’s slated to open midyear as the brand’s sixth location in the Chicagoland area and ninth location nationwide.
