North County San Diego Industrial Park Sells for $21M

CB Copperwood, LLC of Newport Beach has acquired Copperwood Center, an Oceanside, CA industrial park originally built in 1984, for $20.5 million. The eight-building industrial park offers 140,945 square feet, including 350 parking spaces, and is 97 percent leased to 64 tenants with suites ranging from 886 to 7,397 square feet.

A Colliers International team of Paul Lafrenz, Josh McFayden and Joe Crotty represented CB Copperwood, while CBRE’s Matt Pourcho, Anthony DeLorenzo, Gary Stache and Doug Mack advised the seller, Focus Real Estate Group.

According to 3Q 2019 reports from both brokerage firms covering the North San Diego industrial market, overall market vacancies hover at 6.9%, and are the highest rate among San Diego’s regional submarkets. Overall, San Diego is on track to post one of its most positive years to date.
