Nonprofit Organization Say Sí Relocating to 98K-SF Former Industrial

Say Sí, an art-based, non-profit youth development organization, will relocate to a former industrial site on South Brazos Street on San Antonio’s west side. The 98,000-square-foot building on South Brazos Street will more than quadruple the organization’s current 24,000-square-foot campus on South Alamo Street. The new campus is expected to open in late 2020, and will allow for the integration of culinary arts, digital music composition and journalism programs.

Gensler and MP Studio will redevelop the former warehouse, which once housed a San Antonio Housing Authority’s operations center, into a facility that includes classrooms, gathering spaces, media rooms, art galleries, a theater, kitchen and outdoor garden. The $20 million renovation is being funded from private sources and tax credits.

Say Sí launched in the 1990s to offer arts education to San Antonio middle-and high-school students through year-round, tuition-free programming.
