Nonprofit Expands to Full Floor at 14 Wall St.
Nonprofit organization The Posse Foundation has renewed and expanded its headquarters space at 14 Wall Street in a deal arranged by Cushman & Wakefield. In its 15-year lease, the Posse Foundation, which recruits and trains student leaders from public high schools and provides them with college scholarships, will occupy the property’s entire 36,345-square-foot eighth floor.
A Cushman & Wakefield team of Alan Wildes, Jonathan Fein, Lou D’Avanzo and Carlos Suarez represented landlord ROZA 14W LLC in the transaction.
“14 Wall Street is a New York City landmark known for its unique office and retail spaces and neoclassical design,” said Wildes. “This transaction, which follows our recently completed renewal of NYU Langone in the building, demonstrates the landlord’s commitment and ability to retain long-term quality tenants.”
Built in 1912 as the Bankers Trust Building, the 37-story 14 Wall was acquired by Alexander Rovt for $303 million in 2012.
