NKF Arranges Sale of 229-Unit Winston-Salem Apartment Community

NKF has brokered the sale of West End Station, a 229-unit mid-rise apartment building in downtown Winston-Salem. The sales price was not disclosed.

Delivered in spring 2019, the property is located in the West End Village District of the city. Features of the community include hardwood-style flooring, two-toned shaker style cabinetry, designer subway tile kitchen backsplashes, white Carrera style quartz countertops and industrial chic pendant lighting. Amenities include a saltwater pool, resident gathering space with demonstration kitchen, elevated courtyards with a fire pit, a 24-hour CrossFit inspired fitness center with yoga and spin room, and a controlled access parking deck.

John Munroe, Jason Kon, Sean Wood, John Heimburger, Dean Smith and Alex Okulski of NKF represented the seller, a development partnership between Charlotte-based DPJ Residential and Chaucer Creek Capital based in Raleigh. EBSCO Income Properties LLC, a subsidiary of Birmingham-based EBSCO Industries, acquired the property.
