NJ Apartments Almost Finished
The first Cornerstone at Lacey apartment building will be completed by mid-March, 2017. The affordable housing project is in Forked River, NJ.
Phase one at the development, including 70 units in nine energy-efficient buildings, is planned for an October 2017 opening. An additional 48 apartments will open in a planned second phase. All the apartments will be affordable to households earning up to 60% of the area median income.
“We are excited to bring high-end income-restricted apartments to our community,” said Ed Walters, Jr., president and founder of Walters Group, developer of the community.
Geared for working families, Cornerstone at Lacey will fill a need for income-restricted housing in the township, as well as give priority to Hurricane Sandy-impacted residents who have been displaced by or experienced severe storm damage.
