Nine Leases for 70K-SF at 708 Third Ave.

Nine companies have leased a total of more than 70,000 square feet of office space at 708 Third Ave. in Midtown Manhattan.

“708 Third is in the midst of a rejuvenation. The owners have invested more than $11 million in updating the lobby, creating newly finished terraces, and fully renovating common areas, corridors and bathrooms,” said,” said Arkady Smolyansky, first vice president for CBRE, which represents the building owner Marx Realty.

Built in the 1930’s, the 35-story tower includes a total of 420,000-square-feet of space near Grand Central Station at 44th St. “The location cannot be beat,” said Smolyansky.

Asking rents were between $55 and $72 per square foot.
