Nielsen Secures 43K-SF Manhattan Lease

Research and global information company Nielsen Holdings plc has snagged 43,529 square feet at 675 Avenue of the Americas for its second Manhattan location. The company’s main headquarters is at 85 Broad St.

The 16-year lease includes rights to a flagpole on the office façade that Nielsen can use for branding. It’s difficult to find branding on buildings anywhere,” said Ross Eisenberg with Cushman & Wakefield, who represented the landlord in the transaction. Paul Ippolito and Seth Weinstein with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank were the tenant reps.

When Nielsen moves in by fall of this year, the office building will be 100% occupied. Asking rent is in the high $60s per square foot.
