Next Tier, RedBird Partner on Data Center Investments

Locally-based RedBird Capital Partners and Next Tier HD have formed Next Tier Connect, an investment and management platform focused on data center and mission critical real estate.

The new platform will seek to acquire properties across the United States. RedBird and Next Tier didn’t announce a timetable or a target amount.

Founded in 2012, Next Tier HD is among a handful of investment management firms focused on the data center and mission critical sector. “Next Tier Connect is a significant evolution of our relationship with RedBird, and creates a unique investment platform to acquire, optimize and manage a diversified national portfolio of select real estate and mission critical properties,” said David Spiewak, Next Tier’s managing principal.

Added RedBird principal Tyler Alexander, “We have always been impressed with David and his team’s ability to identify and optimize off-market assets within the data center and mission-critical real estate sectors.”
