Newcastle Launches Trio of Inland Empire Industrial Developments
San Francisco-based Newcastle Partners plans to start speculative construction of three new industrial facilities in the Inland Empire totaling 824,300 square feet of state-of-the-art space. The projects are in Redlands and Riverside County.
Newcastle Partners’ Dennis Higgs says, “We’ve witnessed very strong absorption in the Inland Empire due to the unprecedented increase in e-commerce based upon the global pandemic. New industrial product remains in high demand by major e-commerce firms that need to locate or expand in the heart of the Southern California supply chain.”
The projects include:
-Redlands Commerce Center, a $20.1-million, 190,000-square-foot warehouse distribution facility being developed in a venture with Sun Life.
– A 345,000-square-foot industrial warehouse and distribution center at Harvill Ave. in Riverside County being built in a JV with Rockefeller Group Development Corp. Construction is set to begin Q4 2020 on 16.86 acres with completion set for late 3Q 2021.
– Val Verde Distribution Center, a 289,300-square-foot industrial warehouse distribution center at Cajalco Road and Harvill Ave. in Riverside County in another venture with Rockefeller. Construction on 12.97 acres is set to begin Q4 2020 with completion set for Q3 2021.
