New Crown Heights Home for Cabinet Maker

The real estate boom on the Brooklyn waterfront has pushed a family-owned cabinet maker to move to a new space in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood.

Cabinets by Stanley, Inc., has found a new 5,000-square-foot home at the Halsey Industrial Complex at 1830 Atlantic Ave. Its old location at 43 Hall Street sold in May, and the company is being repositioned to take advantage of a location across the street from the redeveloped Brooklyn Navy Yard, on the edge of the DUMBO neighborhood.

“With the improvement of the economy and the high volume of residential development throughout Brooklyn, industrial space is in high demand,” said Neil Dolgin of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, which represented the owners in the lease.
