Net Lease Buyer Reels in Lakeview Seafood Eatery

Stream Capital Partners has arranged the $2.2-million sale-leaseback of Fahlstrom’s Fresh Fish Market, a popular seafood restaurant at 1258 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. The firm’s Ryan Smeele and Jeff Lizzo represented the seller in the transaction.

“Fahlstrom’s is a staple for Chicago’s North Side,” said Lizzo. “Fahlstrom’s has been very successful out of this location for years. This sale-leaseback transaction will enable the owner to reinvest in his business and grow his brand.”

Smeele added, “The buyer was pleased with this transaction, as he was able to acquire a stable, long-term, net-leased asset in one of Chicago’s best neighborhoods.”
