NerdWallet Taking Twitter Sublease?
NerdWallet is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to take 120,000 square feet of Twitter sublease space off the market in San Francisco. Twitter offered roughly 184,000 square feet of excess space at Shorenstein Properties’ Market Square earlier this year.
The two-building, Mid-Market property, which includes 1355 Market Street and 1 Tenth Street, is popularly known as the Twitter building. Shorenstein redeveloped two former retail warehouses that span an entire block of Market Street into 1.1-million square feet of Class A creative office space.
Cresa’s Christina Clark, Craig Zodikoff, Jamie Saunders and Erik Carlson are marketing the space.
Though they were unable to comment about a deal at Market Square, Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason Burch, Jim Chesler and Charlie Moore represented NerdWallet in its roughly 45,000-square-foot lease at 901 Market Street in 2014.
