Nauset Completes MXU Development Near Harvard in Cambridge

Nauset Construction has completed 1699 Massachusetts Avenue, a mixed-use residential/retail development comprised of 16 apartments, 1,600 square feet of first floor retail space, and an adjoining five-bedroom, single family home above an underground parking garage.

The project is located between Harvard Law School and Lesley University. It is the first new multi-unit residential building to be constructed in the one-mile stretch between Harvard Square and Porter Square in more than 20 years.

“The 1699 Mass Ave. development provided an opportunity to transform our property into a vibrant, multi-use community that offers the City of Cambridge and neighborhood a more desirable and efficient use of space,” said Toby Seto, principal of Lotus Harvard Enterprises, which owns the property.
