National Container Group Inks 121K-SF Deal at Intermodal Business Center

National Container Group LLC leased the entire, 120,960-square-foot Intermodal Business Center in southern Dallas County. The Chicago-headquartered company made a 10-year commitment for the space to house its expanding manufacturing operations in Texas.

Michael T. Grant and Susan Singer, with Bradford Commercial Real Estate, represented the landlord, Intermodal Warehouse Partners, in leasing the property at 1704 S. Interstate 45 in Hutchins, TX. Jean Russo, with Cushman & Wakefield, led the team representing the tenant. The team had focused it search on southern Dallas County from the start.

Intermodal Business Center stood out because of its shallow-bay design, along with size, location and easily divisible first-generation space. Additionally, “I think the dealmaker may have been its stand-alone feature and heavy electrical power, which were particularly attractive to National Container,” Grant said, adding that the project attracted a great deal of interest and activity.
