NAIOP Chicago Will Recognize Excellence at Annual Awards

NAIOP Chicago’s annual Awards for Excellence will be given out on the evening of Nov. 14—with most of the winners to be determined by live voting at the Chicago chapter’s 32nd annual awards ceremony, getting underway at 4:30 p.m. at Navy Pier.

Awards categories to be determined by voting include Office Redevelopment of the Year, with finalists including the Old Post Office and Willis Tower; industrial developments in the speculative and build-to-suit categories; broker transactions for CBD and suburban office leasing, industrial leasing, and office and industrial sales transactions; and awards for architecture firm, engineering firm, contractor and property management firm of the year.

The Developer of the Year award will be determined by jury voting. In addition, the NAIOP Chicago Board has often conferred an individual Award for Excellence recognizing exemplary success and professionalism in the industry. However, this award isn’t necessarily presented annually.
