MRI Software Expands Platform Through Acquisitions

Proptech pioneer MRI Software, headquartered in Solon, OH, has expanded its platform with two acquisitions. MRI acquired Leverton, an AI-powered data extraction solution for real estate and corporate documents; and, separately the firm acquired ProLease, which provides lease administration, lease accounting, lease analysis and workplace management applications. Financial terms weren’t disclosed for either transaction.

“The acquisition of Leverton brings a true innovator and global PropTech leader into the MRI family, with expertise in the application of AI to real estate data collection, management, and analytics,” said MRI CEO Patrick Ghilani. New York-based Leverton had already been an MRI partner for the past two years.

MRI has seen significant growth of its occupier solutions globally, particularly in the EMEA region. The acquisition of ProLease, based in Stamford, CT, will support continued growth across all geographic markets and add a sizeable install base of occupier clients in North America.
