Mr. Gatti’s Pizza to Open in French Quarter Shopping Center

In its second opening of the year, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza will hang its shingle at the French Quarter Shopping Center in Tyler, TX. The Fort Worth chain will open in late summer 2018 at 4526 S. Broadway at the 130,000-square-foot retail center. The game-and-pizza restaurant opened its first 2018 franchise in Killeen, TX in March, and is planning an “aggressive growth trajectory;” specifically, 100 new locations by 2022.

Local franchisee Lamar Wendell indicated that he grew up with a Mr. Gatti’s in his hometown, and is thrilled for the opportunity to oversee a “safe, fun place for my own children to hang out.” He also indicated that the restaurant would be used to help the community, with the emphasis on foster children and autism.
