Movement Mortgage Doubles Size with New SC HQ

Movement Mortgage broke ground on a second building at its home base in Fort Mill, SC. The move doubles the size of its headquarters location, and underscores the lender’s significant growth.

The fast-growing retail mortgage lender plans to invest $18 million to construct a new three-story, 90,000-square-foot building at the Bailes Ridge Corporate Park on SC 160 in Lancaster County. The facility is expected to open in January 2019.

The expansion will accommodate a larger information technology team, retail sales support team and the company’s affiliates, such as Movement Insurance. Amenities include a larger gym, a cafe and a courtyard between an existing building.
