Mooyah to Houston: We’re Expanding
Officials with quick-service restaurant chain Mooyah like the Houston area enough to expand, announcing the addition of 26 locations by 2021. The Plano, TX-based burgers-and-fries company is scouting out real estate and franchisees in Galveston, The Woodlands, Cypress, Spring, Conroe, Baytown, Pasadena, Pearland, Friendswood, Sugar Land, Richmond, Rosenburg, League City, Deer Park, Bellaire, Katy and Tomball.
“As we look to close out every corner of Texas, Houston is a logical next step for us,” said Mooyah’s Tony Darden. “As the largest city in Texas, it’s a no-brainer that we’ve honed in on finding the right franchise partners to grow with us across our home state.”
Mooyah has 70 locations nationwide, including 23 throughout the Dallas, Austin and El Paso metropolitan areas. According to the company’s website, the best locations tend to be in endcaps situated in a destination location, with close proximity to schools, churches and parks/recreation facilities. The initial investment fee is between $402,750 and $564,400.
