Moovel North America Shifts HQ Location

Moovel N.A. LLC, part of Germany-based Moovel Group GmbH, relocated its North American headquarters from downtown Portland, OR to the Overland Building in the city’s Old Town. Moovel, which supplies technology to transportation agencies, is leasing 17,176 square feet at 213 N.W. 4^th Ave. Ajay Malhora and Kristin Hammond with CBRE represented the tenant.

Urban Development Partners, in collaboration with Hacker, acquired the 19^th century building and restored it, in collaboration with Moovel. During the process, the owners added an atrium, while developing a creative space, complete with curved forms, no corners and an abundance of natural wood and lighting. The building also has 5,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
