MN Maytag Building 100% Leased Before Rehab Completed
Three companies have signed on to take space in a century-old former Maytag building in Minneapolis, MN’s North Loop – even before rehab on the building at 515 N. Washington Ave. is complete. Clear Night Group, a marketing company in St. Paul is taking all the office space on three floors. The company will relocate firms it recently acquired – Gabriel deGrood Bendt, GbD Pitch and Ackmann & Dickenson – into the property by spring 2018.
Kyle Morque of VoR Development partnered with Brent Rogers of Saturday Properties to acquire the 40,600-square-foot Maytag Building last May for $4 million. The four-story building is getting a $13-million rehab to make room for the offices, as well as a restaurant and lower-level bar. The building will re-open in December as “The Maytag.”
