MIT Plans to Develop 690-Bed Residence Hall for Grad Students
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has submitted plans for a 690-bed residence hall project on the university’s campus in Cambridge.
Located at 269-301 Vassar St., the project will consist of a two-building, 327,000-square-foot development, which will replace a surface parking lot and the MIT Police station. The development is being designed to be targeted towards graduate students.
The university is developing the project with student housing developer, owner and manager American Campus Communities.
