Minnesota Firm Targets SA Growth with Acquisition

Minneapolis-based Westwood Professional Services Inc. acquired San Antonio-based engineering firm Coursen-Koehler Engineering & Associates. Westwood’s goal was to strengthen its South Texas footprint with the buy.  Additionally, the buy allows Coursen-Koehler to leverage the Minneapolis’ company’s national reach.

Coursen-Koehler will now operate as a division of Westwood. Westwood is a national surveying and engineering services provider for commercial and residential development.

Westwood opened its first office in Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, in 2010. In 2014, it opened one in Ridgewood Business Center in San Antonio, where the Coursen-Koehler team will operate.
