Minneapolis’ COCO Expands to Chicago
COCO, a co-working space company in Minneapolis, is expanding to Chicago with its acquisition of Enerspace Chicago at 1046 W. Kinzie in the West Loop. The space is in a growing tech cluster, located a couple of blocks from Google’s Chicago address. The office will be COCO’s fifth location.
“We see Chicago as a vital hub of entrepreneurship, and this acquisition allows us to create greater opportunities for the small business and entrepreneurial communities in these cities,” said COCO’s chief executive and co-founder Kyle Coolbroth. “Many of our members travel there; they work back and forth.” Coolbroth indicated that expansion to other cities is in the planning stages, but declined to mention specifics.
