Mid-States Distributing Moves from Midwest to DFW

Mid-States Distributing Co. Inc. acquired a 40,000-square-foot building in north Fort Worth. The farm store channel retailer will use the building, which formerly was the location of the American Paint Horse Association, for its new headquarters.

The facility at 2800 Meacham Blvd. nearly doubles the size of the new owner, which is relocating from Minnesota. Colt Power, SIOR, CCIM with NAI Robert Lynn negotiated the transaction between Mid-States and the APHA. Power also helped secure space for APHA’s new national headquarters at the Fort Worth Stockyards Horse and Mule Barns on Exchange Avenue.

Mid-States’ Jeff Rash indicated that amenities, western design and collaborative workspaces aligned well with the brand’s identity. The amenities include many parking spaces, a large loading dock, an on-site cafeteria and outdoor courtyard. Land is also available for an additional 20,000 square feet.
