Mid-America Brokers Retail Sale in Suburban Detroit

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s investment sales team recently brokered the sale of Waterside Marketplace in Chesterfield Township, MI. The sales price was not disclosed.

The 291,231-square-foot retail center was purchased by PMAT Real Estate Investments, a middle-market real estate investment firm founded in 2003 that is actively pursuing acquisitions nationally.

A Mid-America Real Estate team of Ben Wineman and Joe Girardi, in cooperation with Mid-America Real Estate-Michigan’s Daniel Stern, were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of an institutional owner.

Waterside Marketplace is located at the southwest quadrant of 23 Mile Road and Interstate 94, in the northeast suburban Detroit community of Chesterfield Township. The dominant regional power center is anchored by national retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, Jo Ann Fabrics, Old Navy, DSW, and shadow anchored by Lowe’s and JC Penney.
