MetroNational Launches Construction on 278-Unit McKinley Memorial City

Investment, development and management company MetroNational broke ground on The McKinley Memorial City, a 278-unit multifamily tower on Houston’s west side. The 25-story high-rise at 9757 Katy Fwy. will be the tallest multifamily tower west of Uptown Houston when it is completed in summer 2021.

The apartment building will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom units as well as penthouse layouts; some will have their own private yards. Amenities will include a resort-style rooftop pool, a wave bar, golf simulator, movie theater, chef’s kitchen, fitness center, dog park, bike storage and wine bar. The project will also offer 4,500 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space.

MetroNational also unveiled plans for a 190,000-square-foot, nine-story office building at 9752 Katy Fwy. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Q1 2020, with project completion in summer 2021.
