Metro DC Apartment Community Trades for $84M

A partnership consisting of The Donaldson Group, Declaration Partners and a fund managed by DRA Advisors has acquired Fairmont Garden Apartments, a 388-unit multifamily property in Annandale, VA. The sales price was reported as $84 million.

Located at 4137 Wadsworth Court, the property consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Amenities include a grilling area, pool and playground. The property is approximately 18 miles west of downtown Washington D.C. The buyers plan to upgrade the HVAC systems at the community.

Jonathan Greenberg of CBRE represented the seller, Capital Investment Advisors, in the transaction. Additionally, CBRE’s Maxi Leachmann secured a Fannie Mae acquisition loan on behalf of the buyers.
