Mesirow’s SLB Group Brings in New VP for Business Development

Zach Fox has joined Mesirow Financial’s Sale-Leaseback Capital group as VP. In this new position, which is based in Chicago, he’ll focus on new business development and client management.

Fox (pictured) joins Mesirow Financial from Transwestern Commercial Services, where he was co-head of the Chicago suburban agency leasing team. In an 11-year real-estate services career, he has completed over 500 transactions totaling more than four million square feet and valued at $500 million.

“Zach is a highly-experienced real estate finance professional who will serve as an important addition to our team as we continue to grow our business,” said Doug Barker, senior managing director of the SLB group. “His extensive business development experience and in-depth knowledge of real estate augments our practice, and will enable us to continue fostering new relationships.”

The Mesirow group has completed more than 150 SLBs valued at over $3 billion in recent years.
