MDC Consolidates into 200K SF at One WTC

MDC Partners signed an 11-year lease for 199,277 square feet at One World Trade Center. The marketing firm is the third largest tenant at One WTC, consolidating from multiple Midtown sites. The deal brings One WTC to 93% leased.

“MDC’s New York centralization into such a modern, iconic, and purpose-built space is a key component of our strategy to enhance interagency collaboration,” said MDC CEO Mark Penn.

Added NKF’s David Falk, “This significant lease with MDC Partners further establishes One World Trade Center as the preeminent building in Manhattan for the tech and media industry.”

JLL’s Peter Riguardi, Michael Berg, Howard Hersh and Brad Lane represented MDC. One WTC’s ownership, a partnership of the Durst Organization and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was represented by Durst’s Eric Engelhardt and Karen Kuznick and the NKF team of Falk, Jason Greenstein, Peter Shimkin, Hal Stein and Travis Wilson.
