McShane Launches Retirement Community Build in Algonquin

McShane Construction Company has launched the construction of a new senior living development, known as The Oaks at Algonquin. The firm was selected by Spectrum Retirement Communities to provide comprehensive construction services for the 166-unit residence in Algonquin, IL.

Over the past 30 years, McShane has constructed more than 4,500 residential units, and the Oaks at Algonquin is one of four senior living projects that the firm currently has underway. It recently completed one in Naperville.

“The Oaks at Algonquin will feature a floorplan designed to support the community’s provision of different levels of care for residents,” commented Jeffrey Raday, president of McShane. “This forethought, combined with the excellent selection of amenities, will make The Oaks at Algonquin a great choice for those seeking senior housing options.”

Designed by Vessel Architecture, the H-shaped building will accommodate independent living, assisted living and memory care units.
