McGuireWoods Signs 50K-SF Office Lease in D.C.
International law firm McGuireWoods has signed a 50,000-square-foot lease to relocate its Washington, D.C. operations to 888 16th St., NW in the central business district.
Tom Fulcher, David Lipson and Adam Brecher of Savills represented McGuireWoods in the long-term lease transaction on multiple floors of the recently redeveloped office space. The projected move-in date is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2020. The law firm will relocate more than 90 attorneys and professional staff from its current location at 2001 K Street, NW.
“McGuireWoods set out to reimagine its workspace to provide a more effective and modernized environment,” said Fulcher. “After looking at a wide array of options, 888 16th really set itself apart with its column-free spaces, its attractive amenities and its scenic views from the roof deck and from the office floors.”
