Matthews Real Estate Opens Texas Office

SoCal-headquartered Matthews Real Estate Investment Services secured an 8,338-square-foot lease at 8300 Douglas Ave., a 100,893-square-foot office building in Dallas’ Preston Center area. The office is the first Texas location for the growing brokerage services company.

Todd Noonan with Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant. Ruth Griggs with PegasusAblon represented the landlord, Lionstone Investments. “The Matthews lease is one of the largest relocations this year to the city’s most sought-after submarket, which consistently has one of the lowest vacancy rates in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex,” Noonan said.

According to Matthews CEO Kyle Matthews, “intense growth” dictated taking the Dallas space. “(It) led to the ultimate decision to expand our services and relocate executives from our Los Angeles headquarters to open a third office in North Texas,” he commented.
